ABOUT STEVE PRESTON

With over 12 years of experience in government, non-profit, and campaign sectors, I am a passionate and action-oriented leader who strives to deliver tangible results for the communities I serve. As the Chief Program Officer at Share Food Program, I oversaw the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of the organization\'s programs and services, which aim to reduce hunger and food insecurity in the Philadelphia region. My core competencies include process improvement, policy development, diversity and inclusion, and community engagement. I have a proven track record of developing and executing innovative and effective solutions to address complex social challenges, such as increasing voter education and participation, advancing racial and social justice, and enhancing organizational culture and capacity. I have also cultivated strong partnerships and collaborations with various stakeholders, such as government agencies, elected officials, community leaders, donors, and volunteers, to leverage resources and amplify impact. I hold a BA in International Relations and Spanish from Duquesne University, and I have studied abroad at Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica. I am conversational in Spanish and proficient in Italian.
