At Hinkley Point C we\'re building two new nuclear EPR reactors (2 X 1,638 MW). It is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low-carbon electricity for around six million homes, 7% of of the country’s total electricity needs helping Britain achieve net-zero. The electricity generated by its two reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year over its 60-year lifespan.The lessons learned from HPC will help with the Sizewell C project, resulting in a reduction in construction costs of somewhere in the region of 20%.Our team is agile and highly experienced providing innovative and strategic legal advice across HPC and SZC.
