Steve Opocensky is an Executive Director at Wells Fargo & Company with responsibility for modernizing current financial and analytical reporting through automation, business process transformation, and resource strategy. Steve joined Wells Fargo in July 2019. Prior to this role he held the position of Head of US Regulatory Reporting & Analytics at Rabobank, North America. Steve was with Rabobank for 7 years serving in various leadership roles from 2012 to 2019. Steve’s professional experience includes the successful implementation of several large-scale financial reporting (ERP) systems and data quality remediation projects. Steve has managed financial product controller teams and technical accounting functions under both US GAAP and IFRS. He also worked for 5 years at the professional services firm Deloitte, from 2007 to 2012. Steve is an active CPA, licensed in 2010, and a previously registered Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27). He holds a BS in Accountancy from California State University and an MBA from Columbia Business School in NYC.
