ABOUT STEVE MESLER

I\'ve had the good fortune to embark on a diverse and rewarding journey so far, from the highest-level of global athletic competition and leadership consulting to organizational leadership and significant personal growth, each phase teaching me something invaluable.My early years were dedicated to living my childhood dreams in Olympic sport, culminating in becoming a three-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist in four-man bobsled, ending a 62-year draught in that event for my country. These experiences profoundly shaped my understanding of teamwork, resilience, and the demands of performing consistently under immense pressure.After my athletic career, I transitioned into leadership development consulting, collaborating with organizations of various sizes—from teams managing $25 million budgets to billion-dollar enterprises. This period allowed me to deepen my skills in strategic personal development, leadership training, organizational effectiveness, and change management.With these experiences as my foundation, I jumped into the CEO seat of Classroom Champions, which began as a humble volunteer project and grew into an organization impacting over 5 million students. We formed meaningful partnerships with notable organizations including the NHL, NFL, NCAA, Fortune 500 companies, and Olympic committees. This role sharpened my strategic thinking and deepened my appreciation for effective executive leadership. Today, I continue my connection to Classroom Champions as board chair.Additionally, my service on the board of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee further broadened my perspective. This opportunity allowed me to navigate complex governance, participate in important leadership reforms, and manage significant crises as the world paid attention to our decisions.Currently, I lead Mesler Performance Group, bringing together all these experiences to support and coach CEOs, founders, Olympians, and elite creative professionals. My approach emphasizes goal-clarity, strategic decision-making, enhanced self-awareness, mindful energy management, and practical leadership strategies tailored to high-pressure roles.Outside coaching, I advise early-stage tech startups, serve on the Advisory Board of the University of Florida’s Institute for Coaching Excellence, am writing a book, and publish a newsletter on mindset and performance.Most importantly, I\'m grateful for the growth and grounding I experience as a husband and dad.
