About Steve Steven M.
Hello and welcome! I’m Steve Medina, a retired sales professional with a passion for building connections and helping others succeed. Over my 17-year career in retail management, followed by 32 years in technology sales, I gained valuable experience and insights that I now enjoy sharing with others.In retirement, I’ve found purpose through volunteering and mentorship. I serve as the President of Westlake Village Toastmasters, where I support members in developing their communication and leadership skills. Additionally, I coach youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Ventura, helping them gain confidence and refine their public speaking abilities.With the American Red Cross, I lead the Disaster Preparedness Team for Ventura County and contribute to the National Disability Integration Group. I’ve also earned certifications in adult and child CPR and First Aid to support my community work. As a part of the emergency disaster services I have been deployed across the country in support of communities impacted by disasters; hurricane Helene, tornadoes events at Iowa, Mississippi, recent fires in Calif, Borel and the Mountain Fire. In addition, I enjoy mentoring small businesses through SCORE, a non-profit that partners with the SBA to guide entrepreneurs on their path to success. As a chapter lead I assist our mentoring team to elevate their experience with our clients. I’m especially grateful for the relationships and opportunities I’ve had throughout my career and personal life. My wife of 44 years, Christine, our two wonderful sons, wife’s, and our cherished grandsons bring immense joy to my life. I also treasure the friendships and connections I’ve made along the way, which continue to inspire and enrich me.Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey—a path filled with gratitude, growth, and meaningful moments.
