Supporting Ge Global Customers, as a generator electrical specialist. My main responsibilities are overseeing onsite technicians for connection of HV (High Voltage) and control wiring connections. CT (Current Transformer) and VT (Voltage Transformer) testing, and commissioning Ge Generators and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) panels for open circuit and online grid load checks. I have to liaise with the customer and Ge to resolve all onsite electrical and software technical issues. I provide project planning with the customer before and during each start-up.• RX3i Proficy PLC AVR• PDTD Testing (DeltaMaxx)• HV Testing • GE PECe lite, GE Fanuc PLC• Brush TM2500 • Ex2100E AVR• Ge L5 Inverter Drives• DX21 AVR Multiple Vessels• Decs 200• Current / voltage transformers with experience in CT analysis.• Primary and secondary injection testing.• Oil Rig Safety Certified (Petrofac Aberdeen)• Generator Electrical Inspections• City & Guilds Certificate In High Voltage Operation • City & Guilds Certificate SAP • Permit to work systems, lock out tag out systems and zero harm policies.• Electrical health and safety in the workplace, risk assessments and working to safety method statements.
