I work as a broadcast journalist with BBC News Online and BBC Radio Gloucestershire. I am part of a team covering the west region, writing stories from Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset. The role is varied and involves pitching stories and features, writing articles, interviewing, editing, social media and SEO. It is a demanding role with high standards expected across all output. I am based in the BBC Radio Gloucestershire office and regularly contribute on air. I write scripts to explain the story to a radio audience and have conducted pre-recorded and live interviews with the station\'s presenters.
