Over 25 years experience in leading programs to prevent environmental issues and solving product stewardship and compliance challenges, with demonstrated success in driving product compliance and safety excellence in North and South America, European Union, and Asia in two Fortune 500 companies. Lead global product compliance and safety programs for Avery Dennison, the market leader in information products including pressure sensitive materials and RFID as well as industrial printers, medical films and tapes, and high performance tapes, implementing global regulatory tracking and product integrity management systems and launching a marketing program to leverage the compliance program to give the company a competitive edge. Led development and implementation of environmental and product stewardship programs globally for a $14 billion dollar division of GE that produces appliances, lighting products, electrical distribution equipment, factory automation, and security products, launching the product stewardship and compliance program (REACH, RoHS, etc). Led successful implementation of numerous compliance programs such as EU REACH, global RoHS, product takeback, and chemical registration requirements. A proven leader and problem solver in all areas of product compliance and environmental program management.
