Provide technical expertise to the Space & Facilities Division (SFD) of the Administrative Office (AO) of the US Courts in support of their mission to provide audio visual, structured cabling, and IT support to all federal courts nationwide. Provide technical recommendations and guidance during all phases of new courthouse construction projects, repair and alteration projects, and Integrated Workplace Initiative (IWI) projects. This includes review and comment on construction documents and design drawings; coordination with SFD’s A/V and IT designers; facilitate the design, procurement, and installation of technologies in IWI spaces; assist with the design, and installation of structured cabling systems; and assist with the writing of technical documentation.
