Inspects and evaluates municipal facilities to determine security and safety requirements;· Conducts investigations related to violations of City policies, to include harassment and discrimination;· Conducts internal investigations of employees involved in deceit, fraud, or theft of City services, equipment, or which involves financial loses relative to their employment;· Evaluates function, product, vendor services, and purpose of new, existing, and proposed security equipment;· Coordinates and/or develops bid specifications for the installation of security related equipment;· Coordinates and develops bid specifications for medical exams and drug testing programs;· Coordinates citywide random drug testing and employee medicals per policy with local medical facilities;· Responds to security related issues, problems and security camera footage requests;· Fosters relationships with Department Heads, Supervisors and Employees relating to the violation of city policy and correction of behaviors to maintain the employment relationship;· Assists in the formulation of the request for proposal (RFP) for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP);· Provides employee support to the (EAP) Program;· Supervises, trains, evaluates and coordinates a wide variety of security and safety prevention activities. · Reviews and/or develops security policies and procedures;· Develops, coordinates and delivers security and Human Resources related policy trainings;· Coordinates background, motor vehicle and security checks on all City employees, volunteers and election workers;· Acts as the City liaison for all medical exams and drug testing programs;· Coordinates and maintains new/existing employee badging credentials.· Composes grants to aid in the funding sources for the purchase and installation of security related equipment. · Investigates and reviews security violations. · Develops and/or coordinates security related training;
