I currently undertake a HSEQ professional role and provide a high level of knowledge and expertise in the areas of SHEQ, especially in most complex functions of Hull City Council and its partnership organisations, and assist in the management of highly interactive client focused services which cover all services across the council (Property & Estates, Major Projects, Economic Development & Regeneration, Building Design Services, Local Enterprise Partnerships, Events etc.) I lead and manage on areas of expertise in the design, development and implementation of health and safety interventions. ensuring cost-effective health and safety solutions, as part of the corporate change process, which are both proactive and responsive to customer needs, Manage risk and reduce health and safety costs, which meet the current and future KPI`s. Establish internal and external performance benchmarks.I provide specialist HSEQ guidance to service directorates ranging from CDM large and small scale projects, Mechanical engineering, Electrical and construction education areas, Archaeological digs, Commercial property, Property maintenance, Large and small scale events -Fairs, Cultural, working in collaboration with all stakeholders across the authority.Lead auditor ( ISO experience across 9001, 14001 and 45001) to ensure a robust Safety and Environmental Management System, compliant with legislative requirements, disseminate appropriate areas of opportunities for continuous improvement within the directorate operations.Carry out a wide range of HSEQ training- incident reporting system, risk management to ensure compliance and fulfil legal responsibilities.Responsible for reporting on RIDDOR incidents, implementing corrective and preventative measures any lessons learnt. Work in collaboration with the HSE interventions.Review concerns that may affect the reporting of minor accidents and near misses across Economic Development & Regeneration directorate
