Responsible for setting the vision, strategy and roadmap for restaurant custom applications and new technology for all 7 Inspire Brands. Our key aim is to deliver quality, unique experiences for our guests and streamlined, frictionless, revenue driving improvements for our team members. My team plays a key role in delivering on Inspires desire to innovate and be leaders in new technology adoption. We are adept at solving problems, taking business pain points and matching them to creative solutions either through custom development or emerging technology. We assist each brand specific restaurant technology team, helping them to innovate quickly when our vendors cannot. Key duties and responsibilities include: • Manage, mentor and lead a large team of global resources including architects, web designers, developers, scrum masters and iOS engineers • Provide guidance to our teams, ensuring we create scalable solutions, built wherever possible to be brand agnostic • Working with leadership stakeholders to define the vision and roadmap for current and future custom applications, including POS extensibility, web portals and iOS apps • Predict, define and manage development budgets for all brands • Find and evaluate emerging technology within the restaurant industry • Evaluate multiple vendors, providing recommendations to leadership on which vendor best fits as a partner to deliver on Inspires vision • Create and communicate a compelling technology vision to IT and Operations leadership and store and franchisee leaders, with an ability to leverage logic, experience, facts, and passion to influence others
