Provide supervision to up to 15 employees as Clinical Imagine Specialist• Collaborate with Medical Director of the section, and vendor as need, to develop new and advanced computer driven imaging sequences• Update imaging protocol books, and work with Medical Imaging Manager to define related changes that may impact technologists’ workflow• Schedule and make provisions for in-service training for technologists• Provide for the clinical experience of Radiology Technology students, instructing & guiding through imaging procedures• Assume charge-duty responsibility in the absence of the Lead MRI tech• Serve as Hospital’s MRI Safety Officer, holding lectures and attending departmental staff meetings to discuss prevention and hazards of MRI related injuries • Ensure the proper execution of safety policies and guidelines set forth by the MRMD• Facilitate testing for magnet and ensure that any deficiencies are reported to the service engineer and manager; Conduct drills to simulate emergency situations• Extensive competency on 1.5 T strength magnet, familiarity on 3T• Proficient in cardiac, vascular, research studies, and neuro imaging • Vast Knowledge of image post processing, and reformatting
