Steve Hustler CBIFMI am a professional strategic operations, assets and facilities Director who has gained experience and success managing significant estates including the UK and Ireland Center Parcs portfolio and John Lewis Partnership and Waitrose assets.These roles required the delivery of high standards of asset management, risk management, service support and planned and responsive maintenance which were only possible with strong leadership, engendering a healthy culture, shared vision, and collaborative teamwork.I am equally comfortable working with a Board or alongside operatives delivering day-to-day compliance and responsive services. This gives me the ability to agree a strategy, communicate it effectively to all levels of an organisation - setting a vision, clear targets and empowering individuals to collectively achieve success.I have also worked for British Land and Sheffield Hallam University, delivering high value construction projects alongside operational excellence.I have created and delivered sustainability initiatives within multi-site organisations that have achieved stretch targets towards net-zero, as well as delivering ecology and biodiversity opportunities.I was also Chair of the Board of Trustees for Sheffcare, a community-based group of care homes in Sheffield offering residential and dementia care. My current position with DSFS enables me once again to support our local communities within an organisation supporting the delivery of a truly valued local NHS health provision.
