I feel very privileged to be in the teaching profession and still get the same buzz each and every day! To be in a position where I can do my very best to inspire, instil confidence and help to enable the children to develop themselves both academically and physically and to go on with confidence and hopefully achieve to their full potential is something very special indeed and this is what I strive to do each and every day!I have a motto within my classroom of “Work Hard - Play Hard” and this applies across both the academic and sporting activities and other outdoor and adventurous activities that I provide for the children both within my class and across the school. I try to make every child feel special and motivated to work hard to fullfil their full potential. Over the last few years my classes and myself have so far managed to raise well over for a variety of Charities. These personal Challenges have included- • Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro• Climbing Mont Blanc.• Trekking 200 miles through the Sahara• Climbing Mount Elbrus• Trekking the Jungles of Borneo• Trekking Mount Everest Base Camp• Completing the Mount Everest Marathon• Completing the UVU North Pole Marathon• Completing the BTU Amazon Jungle Ultra• Completing the BTU Arctic Ice Ultra• Completing the London Marathon• Completing the Uganda Marathon x 7 times • Climbing Mount Toubkal• Completing the Great Norse Run • Running 9 Marathons across Iceland • Running 14 consecutive Marathons across Costa Rica and Tajikistan • Running 5 Marathons through Mongolia and Climbing 5 Mountains in Guatemala • 5 Marathons through the Jungles of Indonesia
