About Steve Hawkins
In the spring of 2020 I left the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development to join FDR Safety as Vice President. I began working for Tennessee OSHA in 1987 as a safety compliance officer. In I was promoted to Asst. Administrator of the program, the Administrator in 2009, and to the Deputy Commissioner of the department in 2019. I look forward to working with employers and employees to improve workplace safety and health in this new position.
