   Lead a diverse team to manage all operations of a sports complex and retreat center, including 250 bed dorm-like lodging, an 800 person event center, 6 turf fields, team building and challenge course, sports performance center and square foot John Wooden Family Fieldhouse. Welcoming over guests annually.• Facilitate hundreds of events each year including college and high school sport team retreats, church groups, summer camps, leagues, tournaments, special events, fundraisers, weddings and international hosting.• Responsible for increasing revenue through event rentals, programs, sales tactics, fundraising, food and beverage, apparel sales and various other miscellaneous initiatives. Grew internal programming from 5 to over 60 in 18 months – summer camps, leagues, showcase events.• Opened the John Wooden Family Fieldhouse including all operational procedures for court rental, programming, concessions, staffing. Under budget and operating under projected budget for first fiscal year. Grand Opening event in summer 2024 drew over 2500 guests to campus.• Hosted the Total Athlete Tip Off event in 2024, three Division I basketball games on the opening day of college basketball season, sold out each session of the event and included local schools and colleges in promotion.• Implemented several proactive accounting practices to better track revenue and expenses in a more real time and reduce administrative expenses where possible.• Oversee a team of 13 full time employees, 12 regular part time and over 30 additional part time and seasonal roles. Employee appreciation and retention through better onboarding and training, celebration incentives, collaborative goal setting and increasing staff in over worked areas.
