AssetCool is tackling one of the most pressing challenges in energy infrastructure: how to increase transmission capacity quickly, affordably, and without new right-of-way or permitting hurdles. I lead our global commercial efforts, and North American operations.Our mature photonic cooling technology is being deployed on over 1,400 km (870 miles) of overhead transmission lines. It delivers a non-invasive capacity uplift of up to 30% by coating existing conductors — no software integration, no reconductoring, and no new environmental permits.The result is a permanent increase in line capacity, with no variability based on weather conditions. Using our robotic deployment platform, utilities can uprate existing assets in months rather than years, at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional alternatives. For new transmission builds, the coating can also be applied directly in the factory.
