About Steve Halloran
Steve is an accomplished leader with extensive experience leading technology businesses and driving large-scale transformation and growth. He is currently advising VC and PE backed companies on shifting operating model to support scale and profitability (restructuring, M&A playbook, location strategy), executing on large scale strategic initiatives (AI, payments, private markets GTM), and developing new revenue streams. Most recently, Steve was the General Manager and Head of Carrier Solutions business at Zinnia (formerly SE2), responsible for $160M of revenue,~1400 employees and 35+ leading life & annuity insurance carriers. In 2.5 years, he led a significant transformation resulting in $46M of EBITDA growth through a balance of top and bottom line initiatives. Prior to Zinnia, Steve led global strategy and business operations for a $2B+ revenue and person data, software and services firm. In this role, Steve led two large scale merger integrations ($46B combined deal sizes, both private and public), 10+ strategic initiatives ($600M+ of value creation), and a division-wide reorganization.Prior to operating roles, Steve ran a boutique advisory firm working directly with over 15 CEOs to implement large scale growth, turnaround and change programs - companies such as Grant Thornton, Jackson Hewitt, Bank of America, RoyalSunAlliance, AMWINS, Six Flags, LendingTree, TXU Energy, and Aquarion Water. Before this, he worked at a Big 5 consulting firm, ran a global consulting practice and launched an idea management software company.
