Steve has 35 years of business experience ranging from an engineer in the Astronaut office at NASA to an executive at Dell. He has repeated successes leading large organizations through transformational changes. His unique positive, motivational leadership skills and engineering background enable him to be successful in a broad range of roles including: leading deep technical IT teams; designing, starting up and running large factories; transforming Dell\'s IT organization from Waterfall to modern Agile development practices; leading Product Management and Engineering teams for VDI solutions; managing the tools and processes that provide the foundation of Dell\'s renowned supply chain; Integrating Wyse into Dell and achieving the committed P&L for each of the first 8 quarters after acquisition; designing experiments that flew onboard the space shuttle at NASA; and author and a public motivational speaker.Steve is the author of “Head First! A Crash Course in Positivity,” an amazing story about how his attitude literally saved his life from a near fatal skiing accident. Steve enjoys helping others by sharing his inspiring story and practical advice on how to become more positive, lead with positivity, and achieve better personal and business outcomes. He has given talks at Dell, Accenture, VMware, EMC and many others, has been a guest lecturer at Texas A&M University and the University of Texas, and has a TEDx talk.Steve H. Automated processes and implemented self service that eliminated 50% of operations workload for team and reduced cycle time by 90% for all apps that could consume self service. Improved infrastructure stability of the load balancing service by 80%.
