Holding the NEBOSH Diploma, I am a Corporate Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) with 27 years’ experience.With a reputation of reliability and expert knowledge relating to health and safety practices, I am a composed and pragmatic individual who is self motivated and at ease both working alone or as part of a team.During my career I have acquired a vast amount of experience in varied disciplines relating to the following- •Facilities Management to major commercial enterprises•Asset Management- Delivery of legislative compliance servicing and maintenance schedules covering but not limited to fire, water hygiene, gas & electrical systems and commercial installation and replacement programmes including passenger lift, fire safety systems and commercial gas boilers. •Landlord Domestic and Commercial Property Management- Responsive repairs, major works projects including aids and adaptation pods. •Construction- Major new build including infrastructure, civils, M&E packages - £1 billion Formula One Race Track in Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina Yacht Club complex.•Commercial / retail refurbishment & fit out•CDM regulations including provision of CDM-c duties and Construction advice.In relation to strategic management processes, I am experienced in.•Developing and maintaining ISO45001 Health & Safety, ISO14001 Environmental and ISO 9001 Quality Management systems including audit and review as a BSI qualified lead auditor.•Development and delivery of bespoke training programmes and externally accredited courses such as IOSH Managing Safety.•Provision of asbestos and fire safety in construction guidance and support, accident investigation and compilation and issue of Health and Safety Project reports.•Sustainability: innovative approaches to sustainable development, received training in the Estidama Pearl Rated System in the UAE (similar to BREEM).
