Having worked in both public and private sector Building Control since 2001, and having successfully demonstrated my competence as a Class 4 (2 & 3) Registered Building Inspector (RBI) in 2024, I have chosen to utilise my knowledge and experience in the Profession to diversify from Regulatory Building Regulations into a Consultancy based role.I am therefore pleased to say that as of January 2025 I am joining the Building Safety Division at Safer Sphere Ltd to compliment their existing team of Building Regulations Professionals.My new role as Principle Building Safety Consultant will allow me to use my technical knowledge and expertise gained as a Building Control Regulator to provide assistance to clients and their Design teams ensuring compliant solutions are achieved at an early stage of projects.This aims to reduce resources, costs and time delays associated with the submission of non compliant applications and reduce the need for costly re-design of schemes after submission.
