As the Executive Director of KIPR I spearhead the leadership and strategic direction for this STEM education organization, which aims to impact educators and underrepresented students across the globe. To drive organizational objectives, I closely oversee finance activities, personnel management, and operational logistics. Our primary goal, and my main directive is to conceptualize and implement various innovative programs to empower educators and students, including the design and engineering of hardware and software education technology. This entails introducing a curriculum that aligns with our core standards while building professional development tools to secure positive outcomes for stakeholders. To achieve this I have leveraged $10M in fundraising to date.A few of my key accomplishments include:• Accelerating initiatives to support underrepresented students and high-need schools, including Title I and rural schools, and improve their educational outcomes. Through this I achieved 80% underrepresented minority participation and boosted the number of participants by 900% through rapid program expansion.• Re-imagining sustainable strategies to elevate professional development and establishing standards that align with our program curriculum and content.• Leading the engineering of hardware technology while streamlining supply chain and technology production costs.• Collaborating with six tribal entities to generate resources for Native American students, securing aid for over individuals.
