   Apr 2010 — Present

   I manage a NQA-1 manufacturing business that manufactures Neutron Absorbers for use in nuclear reactor control rods. Also known as burnable poison materials. Includes solid natural boron carbide, enriched boron carbide, annular pellets, boron carbide/alumina pellets. Products are sintered to temperatures above 2300 deg C. Materials used are boron carbide, silicon carbide, alumina and zirconia. Also have a NQA-1 machine shop that has hard ceramic machining capability and specialized metal production.Millennitek polymer division supplies castable resins, two part silicones, vacuum cast machines, all types of tooling including boron carbide or alumina press tooling inserts.
