Act as a key contributor toward achieving the Risk Management Group’s mission of promoting a risk intelligent culture for the Bank and providing independent, value-added risk management oversight toward achievement of the Bank’s mission and objectives. Direct the team responsible for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) oversight of the Bank’s Mortgage Partnership Finance (MPF) program that provides mortgage liquidity for the member financial institutions of Federal Home Loan Bank System - a cooperative of 11 Federal Home Loan Banks across the country that have been providing liquidity to small- to medium-sized community financial institutions for decades and, in turn, enabling these members to support the communities they serve through all economic cycles.• Assess, analyze and report on all risk dimensions and aspects of the MPF Program that provides funding for approximately $15 billion in mortgages annually. Collaborate and strategize with the MPF business and teammates in the Bank’s Risk Management Group to most effectively mitigate inherent and emerging risks while maximizing achievement of the MPF Program’s and the overall Bank’s objectives and mortgage asset-related balance sheet goals. • Strategize with colleagues to maximize the effectiveness of the Bank’s Governance and Risk Controls and Enterprise Risk Management Policy to continually strengthen the Bank’s safety and soundness and ongoing fulfillment of its member financial institutions’ liquidity needs.• Contribute to optimizing various aspects of the Bank’s broader ERM Program. Refine and manage the Bank’s metrics methodology and help the Bank’s business groups to optimize their deployment of metrics (KPIs/KRIs) toward achievement of their respective group’s objectives.
