I work with a team of specialists to deliver data migration as a service to our clients, typically migrating data from legacy source systems to new target systems. This involves:• Collaborating with business SMEs to understand business processes, data interactions, and cataloguing key source data• Developing and implementing data quality rules to identify and resolve outlier data in advance of a migration, achieving a 95% or higher resolution rate• Mapping migration templates from source to target, securing agreement from business stakeholders• Delivering solutions to identified migration/data issues, escalating appropriately where needed• Building, testing, and deploying migration transformation code• Running the migration process, producing valid load files for each relevant programme data cycleOutside of major migration projects, I also support other business areas by providing appropriate data solutions to presented problems.I am currently contracted out to one of Experian\'s clients, working on their data migration project.
