ABOUT STEVE EASTMENT CHPP

With 24 years within the railway industry, 21 of which involved in Project Management, I have the knowledge, experience and ability to manage all aspects projects and programmes from concept to delivery.I am a hard working proactive person and am confident I can add value to any company with my commitment and dedication to my work. I consider myself to be a solution finder and thrive on being presented with challenges that require thinking outside the box. I am always complimented on my relationship building abilities and believe this is demonstrated by the fact that I have been headhunted for each role I have fulfilled to date. I hope to make a difference for the better in any future roles that I take on, whilst adhering to the rules, procedures and guidelines laid out by the company and with safety in mind at all times. I am a very approachable person so I work well within a team but I believe my strengths lie in leadership and inspiring people to bring out the best in themselves. I have learnt a great deal during my 24 years’ experience in the railway but I remain open-minded and constantly willing to learn from others no matter what their role or position.Whilst my experience is mainly of a railway renewals background, I believe that my project management skills and experience can be transferred to other projects and industries.
