I focus my practice on local government litigation and client counseling. A significant portion of my practice is dedicated to defending fire service employees and EMS providers. I have defended clients in professional misconduct matters, federal civil rights claims as well as wrongful death claims. In addition, I devote much of my time to counseling and advising the fire service on liability issues. I have taught numerous classes over the years on legal issues for training officers and fire service personnel. I am a regular speaker at numerous conferences and for numerous associations where I lecture on liability issues in the fire service.
