ABOUT STEVE DEWIS

Steve has 30 years of experience in people transportation, having started his career with Mentor Engineering, a technology firm that provided ruggedized in-vehicle computers for the taxi, towing and paratransit industries. Steve has held various leadership roles in technology companies that serve the fixed route, campus, and school transportation sectors in North America. Before his current role as General Manager of TADERA, he was General Manager of a leading provider of non-emergency medical transportation software in North America.Steve focuses on building trusting teams and establishing a culture of operational excellence, ideation, client centricity, and corporate accountability, in the businesses he leads.Steve holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering with distinction and a minor in Computer Engineering, in addition to certificates in Professional Management and Strategic Management. He is a professional engineer and resides in Calgary, Alberta with his wife and three children. In his spare time, Steve enjoys swimming, skiing, hiking, biking, and backpacking in the Canadian Rockies.
