With extensive experience spanning over two decades in the insurance industry, I currently serve as a Senior Underwriter at Axon Underwriting Services. My expertise lies in underwriting complex insurance solutions and ensuring compliance through audits while supporting the company’s strategic goals. Steve has been underwriting management liability products since 2004 when he first started in the insurance industry at AIG. He has a proven track record of building small books of business into large profitable portfolios spanning over a large verity of industry classes. He has strong relationships with both wholesale and retail brokers. Steve is best known for averaging over $1 million of new business per year. To round out his insurance expertise he joined Zurich as a Territory Leader and managed a book of $250 million GWP. He quickly learned the P&C side of the business and built strong relationships with the brokerage community. He spent 5.5 years leading the MN/ND/SD/WI marketplace before returning to his passion for underwriting.
