In August 2023, Verizon announced a new Strategic Partnership with HCL Technologies Ltd. Under the partnership, Verizon will focus on sales, solutioning, and customer acquisition, while HCL Tech will manage implementation and ongoing support. The partnership aims to offer customers a best-in-class managed network services portfolio, enhanced efficiency, and a digitized experience. As part of this partnership, I transferred from Verizon to HCL Tech under protected employment law. My role is a continuation of the Global Service Director position I held at Verizon, which has changed in scope due to our client insourcing the management of their network.Key Accountabilities: Service Management lead on RFP bid. Delivery of in-scope Services to contracted SLA/SLOs. Scoping and defining hand back of services and identifying gaps. Oversight on hand back of Services and assets. Managing the Program Lead for hand back. Input/oversight on financial matters related to transition of services to new contract. Led the migration from custom NOC to Global Service Desk and knowledge transfers.
