WORK HISTORY
Maritime Security Consultant @Looking For Job
During the Ships operations off the coast of Tanzania on the East coast of Africa as a Guard vessel to the drilling platform Deep Sea Metro 1for the BG 082 Tanzania Project from 19th October 2012 until the TL Steve Ware left the ship 30 December 2012. The Company Drum-Cussac Ltd were contracted to supply security personnel to consult and control the armed forces supplied by the Tanzania Peoples Defense Force (TPDF) to carry out “anti piracy” security for all the ships on the project. Their duties on the SVS Hawkins being to protect the ship and crew from pirate attack suspected to be coming from the Somali pirates, to take all reasonable courses of action to include armed response if necessary to prevent the ship from attack or capture. The VPT was lead by Steve Ware (TL) and consisted of DC in total, Mervin Williams, Adrian Richards and 4 x TPDF. These teams were thoroughly professional at all time in the pursuit of their duties and allowed the crew to fulfill their roles and duties in safety around the security measures put in place in the knowledge that the team was there to protect them. May I take this opportunity to thank the team for their vigilance and professionalism throughout this task on the SVS Hawkins.
