About Steve Chianos

I\'ve been an operations manager and writer for over 30 years and a photographer for as long as I can remember. As the operations manager for the family business, I have overseen the continued operations of our core business and helped to start and run many other businesses over the years. The businesses that we started were often in response to our own needs, and we figured if we needed the services, others must as well. That\'s how I identified most of our expansions. Keep it close to home and do what I know. Mostly. Helping run the family business has allowed me the opportunity to grow as an artist. I had the time occasionally to write and my camera was never far from my hand. As I continue to work on guiding our small family business out of the turmoil of Covid, I recently realized that I had hundreds of photos collecting digital dust and files of fiction and non-fiction ideas just moldering away on digital shelves and I thought maybe it\'s time I did something with them. That\'s why I launched Sun Dragon Images, a fine art website to display the galleries of photos I\'ve taken over the years. This is a big step for me as I put my work out there to be seen by people other than friends and family and I begin learning how to market art. The next step down the road will be to begin doing the same thing with my writing.
