Steve began his career as an officer in the United States Air Force, serving as Officer in Charge at the Missile Maintenance Training Section at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota, and later as Officer in Charge of Cape Canaveral’s Eastern Range Maintenance. There, he managed calibration labs and an IT network supporting a wide array of Department of Defense satellites, NASA rocket launches, and Air Force range systems. He then moved into a role as Executive Officer at Cape Canaveral, where he helped to create organizational policy for the Air Force’s 45th Space Wing while providing oversight for its budget process. Steve also served as Deputy Administrator of Corporate and Consumer Services for the State of Wisconsin from 20••••14.
