The Oxford Trust is an educational and business innovation charity. It was established in 1985 by Sir Martin and Lady Audrey Wood, who founded Oxford Instruments in 1959. Public & education programmes operate under the Science Oxford brand.In late 2013 the Trust moved to the Oxford Centre for Innovation (OCFI), on a site it owned on New Road, in the heart of Oxford. In mid 2019 the Trust opened its second innovation centre, the laboratory focused Wood Centre for Innovation (WCFI) in Headington, Oxford along with the UK\'s first integrated indoor/outdoor science centre for primary school pupils and their families (Science Oxford Centre). The Trust focuses its activities in Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire although has some programmes with national reach and impact.The Trust\'s mission is \'encouraging the pursuit of science’. It does this through supporting start up innovation, creating and delivering STEM education (primary and secondary school) programmes and via public engagement events.
