After working on Habitat builds for years in Texas and Georgia I associated with the local affiliate in Florida after moving to Fernandina Beach. In January of 2015 I was elected President of the Board of Directors. We are a small affiliate but we have built 40 homes over the years for needy families. I love doing construction work in my spare time, working with partner families side by side on their new homes and working with a crew of great volunteers. The mission of Habitat is great;\"A world where everyone has a decent place to live.\"
