I\'m a reporter who has roughly eight years of experience in places ranging from north Iowa to the second largest city in Pennsylvania, who now resides in Memphis. I\'m a business reporter for the Daily Memphian, an online nonprofit news source. I cover public companies (FedEx, AutoZone, International Paper, etc.), health care (hospitals, St. Jude, other aspects), the airport and other transportation/logistics, and some other areas.My last gig was at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, starting as a general assignment reporter before quickly jumping on their political desk. Before that, I was reporting for MoCo360, an online news publication in Bethesda, Maryland. I also spent time reporting at The Frederick News-Post in Frederick, Maryland, and before that, I worked at the Globe Gazette, a newspaper in North Iowa. I\'ve also interned at multiple other publications while earning a journalism degree from Temple University, studied abroad in London, and visited 13 European countries.Much of my background is in covering local governments and elections at the statehouse, county, and municipal levels, but I have clips ranging on beats from public safety, transportation, the environment, and many more (including in my current realm of business).
