About Steve Bishop
Steve Bishop is the retired Chief Executive Officer of P&G Health Care, which includes the company\'s global oral care and over-the-counter medicines businesses. P&G Health Care features a portfolio of $1 billion-plus properties under Crest, Oral-B and Vicks, along with many other well-known brands such as Metamucil, Pepto-Bismol, and Neurobion. Steve led strong growth and value creation in the business and significantly expanded its size and footprint through both organic growth, as well as transformative mergers & acquisitions, including the multi-billion-dollar acquisition of Merck KGaA Consumer Health Care. Steve’s career at P&G spanned more than 35 years and reflects broad experience in a variety of roles across all P&G’s businesses. He is passionate about positively impacting the lives of people around the world with better products, services and experiences. It was Steve’s visionary leadership that led to the creation and launch of Always Discreet in the Adult Incontinence category—one of the company’s most successful organic category entries in recent times; as well as other transformative innovations such as the Oral B iO line of products, among others. Beyond his responsibilities leading Health Care, Steve also served on multiple company boards and committees at P&G focused on quality assurance, diversity, inclusion, and innovation. Outside of P&G, Steve served on the Board of Cintrifuse, a public/private partnership whose mission is to develop a thriving technology-based start-up network in the Cincinnati region. He now serves as a Director at Ashland, Inc and Strados Labs Inc; is a Senior External Advisor for Bain and Company, and also is on the Advisory Committee for cultivate(MD) Capital Accelerator Fund GP, LLC, a fund focused on transformative technology and innovation in the medical space.
