Over 4 decades of experience managing construction operations, including executive level administration and management of business units for an ENR Top 100 Commercial General Contractor/Construction Manager/Developer headquartered the Southeast. Areas of expertise include business unit/division P&L responsibility, contracts & contract negotiation (upstream and downstream), risk assessment/ management, joint ventures, project management, project planning, pre-construction, cost consulting, estimating, value management, purchasing, scheduling, and development. Directed successful international and domestic operations in Mexico City, San Juan Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver Tampa, and Atlanta, and individual projects in excess of $200 million+. Chaired corporate Risk Management Committee and managed corporate Risk Management staff including VP-General Counsel and VP-Risk Management (insurance-practice policies, CCIP, SDI, and surety relations). Project experience includes: hospitality Rooms); multi-family residential units of condo, apartment, tax credit affordable housing); student housing (1.6 million SF / 4700+ units); large public assembly (3 million+ SF); mixed-use; retail; office; warehouse; joint ventures; local, state and federal government; public-private projects; performing arts facilities; religious; development; design-build; IPD. Formed Twin Oaks Consulting, LLC in 2013 to provide construction consulting and advisory services consisting of owner representation, project management, claims and litigation support, and scheduling to owners, contractors and subcontractors. He is also a Senior Associate consultant at Civitello Project Management, a national construction consulting firm.
