Steve is a business executive & leader with 30+ years of success driving sales/revenue growth for a $5.5B global company serving the workforce solutions & staffing industries. His expertise in organizational development and improving operations, sales, staff performance & corporate culture informs all his work.As SVP & GM, US Operations at Kelly Services, Steve led the single largest/most profitable segment, with full P & LL responsibility for $3B+ in revenue, overseeing FTEs at 500+ branch locations & 500+ on-site locations. Steve significantly contributed to the company’s profitable growth ($2B to $3B), outpacing market growth for all business segments by growing the Commercial and Professional Technical (PT) sectors at ~ 2x and ~ 4x above market rates respectively. He developed and implemented the strategy leading to the creation of the PT sector with four business units (IT, Engineering, Finance and Science), and the development/implementation of a strategy around sales/sales service delivery aligned with core competencies focused on industry verticals. Steve developed the largest/best in-class vendor on premise programs.Before, serving as SVP and GM, Technical Services, and leading four Professional Technical leaders and a centralized service delivery model’s leadership team, Steve was a key contributor to growth and increased client satisfaction. He improved recruiting/sales efficiencies, deepened service delivery models’ focus based on client size and geography, and led change that enhanced the existing culture using Positive Org Systems training.He served on the board of several non-profit organizations & is a Board Member of the Little Point Sable Association in Shelby, MI.Steve is a Board Certified Coach and has experience Coaching in multiple industries and levels of Executives.He has a PhD in Behavioral Science from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI & completed numerous executive education programs.
