Metering Technician @Perenco

My role within Perenco is to calibrate, Maintain, Commission, perform factory acceptance tests and service a wide range of metering and measurement equipment used to control and monitor the flow of hydrocarbons both onshore and offshore. This involves me working within very tight specifications to ensure that the equipment is running at peak performance and that all hydrocarbons are accounted for. Working to standards such as ISO5167, ISO6976, AGA8, AGA10 and the NSTA flow measurement guidelines. I have attended various calibrations at 3rd party facilities across Europe on behalf of Perenco, witnessing the calibration to verify compliance and accuracy. I have performed full technical audits on offshore assets to ensure complience with Government and Partner agreements. I am skilled in range of maintenance and certification software which include Maximo, Patriarch, Kelton Flowcalc and Uncertainty +.I have been actively involved with design and commissioning of new metering systems as well as calculating uncertainties for current systems both on and offshore. I have performed audits to ensure that the measurement systems are compliant.I am regularly involved with the safe isolation and reinstatement of plant to allow intrusive maintenance and inspections to take place. This is a self supervising role so allows me to plan my workload to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
