Responsible for a small dedicated team who deliver and administer a number of specialist professional qualifications related to ophthalmology. We remain the main Approved Centre for the mandated national NHS England / Health Education England \'Health Screener\'s Diploma\' for DR, New-born Hearing and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screening staff. I act as Senior Tutor for a number of level 4 and 5 qualifications, awarded and validated by the University of Gloucestershire. I invented, and am responsible for delivering, managing and developing \'Test and Training\', the mandated monthly independent external QA for DR graders in the English NHS diabetic eye screening programme. We are in the thirteenth year of provision to the NHS and also provide an international version to diabetic eye screening programmes in several international locations.
