I work as a private consultant to individuals and organizations by providing psychotherapy and education on behavioral health and long-term care issues. I have presented for retirement communities, day treatment programs, churches, and civic organizations, and have served as an advisory board member to CVS, and the Capital Area Association of Diabetic Educators. I have also served as a behavioral consultant for the Maryland Department of Aging. I counsel from a client-centered perspective and am mindful that many are challenged with the painful realities associated with caring for ourselves while caring for our elderly relatives and friends. Our ability to successfully navigate life\'s challenges requires an integrative approach which addresses our physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs.
