ABOUT STEPHIN SINU OOMMEN

I am currently pursuing a BBA LLB from Christ University, Delhi NCR, driven by a commitment to leveraging the legal system for meaningful change. My passion lies in advocating for those who cannot represent themselves, ensuring that justice is both accessible and impactful. Previously, I served as the Convener of the Moot Court Society (MCS), where I facilitated legal discussions and represented student interests in academic forums. Additionally, as a member of the University Council (School of Law) and a Student Recruit at the Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS) – Media and PR, I developed strong leadership, public speaking, and organizational skills, effectively bridging communication between students and faculty. Beyond academics, I am an avid debater, having secured 1st position in the Internal Debate Competition and winning the Internal National Ranking Round Moot Competition. My dedication to teamwork and discipline extends to sports, where I proudly represent the university in basketball and have earned 3rd position in long jump and 2nd position in the 800m race at the annual sports meet. Through these experiences, I have cultivated a well-rounded skill set that enables me to approach legal challenges with analytical precision and strategic thinking. I strive to be a changemaker, using my legal expertise to drive impactful reforms and improve lives.
