ABOUT STEPHIE LEUNG
Stephie is a Scientist with 9 years of experience in the cell & gene therapy industry. Her areas of expertise include iPSC and primary T-cells CRISPR editing process, developing scalable edited iPSC cultures in STRs, cell characterization assays, iPSC-derived differentiation of cardiac and myeloid progenitors, and scale-up, closure, and automation of LVV downstream processing. Additionally, she worked with upstream viral production, and rapid microbial detection. She obtained an M.Sc. from the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, where she studied the effect of a histone mutation on DNA repair in pediatric glioblastomas.
