ABOUT STEPHEN YORK
Stephen York is a Partner of Bain\'s UK office and member in our Private Equity practice, based in London.Stephen’s most recent work has involved multiple commercial due diligence efforts across EMEA within the broader Financial and Business Services sectors. He also has broad experience across corporate and business unit strategy development, performance improvement, customer experience strategy and organizational design. Prior to moving to the UK, Stephen spent 15 years in Bain\'s Johannesburg office and acted as Managing Partner of Bain South Africa between 2022 and 2025. Prior to joining Bain in 2010, Stephen was a consultant for another top firm in South Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town.Stephen enjoys reading, playing sport and spending time with his family and friends.
