   Mechanical engineering design and analysis with the Reactor Systems and System Integration (RSSI) group for the Natrium project, a Generation IV Nuclear Sodium Fast Reactor. Performed research on historical reactors and current technologies to help determine the project technological readiness and develop a technology maturation plan. Developed mechanical component designs for the reactor enclosure system, including concept development, and initial technical verification. Performed structural design and mechanical heat transfer design. Led feasibility studies for design selection comparing risk, technical readiness, manufacturability, cost, and schedule. Developed testing program for heat transfer control systems.
