About Stephen Salts

I am the Director of Learning & Youth Programs at San Diego Symphony where I oversee the orchestra’s dynamic programming for youth and families: the sensory-friendly Symphony Kids Series, the Family Concert Series, a robust elementary school program, school and community open rehearsals, and collegiate masterclasses. I\'m also a proud board member of the Association of California Symphony Orchestras.I was previously based in Los Angeles where I was Senior Production Manager of the Grammy Award winning Los Angeles Master Chorale at Walt Disney Concert Hall. I studied music at Florida State University and the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. I earned a second Master of Music degree at Royal Holloway, University of London, where I was honored to be a Fulbright Scholar researching the renowned tradition of British choral singing.
