Stephen is an innovative and passionate leader of the Schneider Downs cybersecurity team with a background in Digital Forensics and Network Security. With over a decade of frontline experience, Stephen\'s previous areas of focus have included Network Penetration Testing, Social Engineering and Physical Security Testing. Stephen also spent several years performing emergency Incident Response services, helping clients navigate some of the largest and most complex ransomware cases that local federal authorities have ever seen. Stephen continues to flourish as a strategic advisor for a wide-range of clients across industries including government, manufacturing, oil & gas, higher education, medical, retail, nonprofit, insurance, automotive, financial, software-as-a-service and professional services. When Stephen isn\'t busy negotiating multi-million-dollar ransomware demands or guiding business leaders through the shifting cybersecurity landscape, you can find him riding his OneWheelXR around Pittsburgh, designing educational board games or teaching people how to pick locks at infosec conferences. Stephen earned an IT Security Forensics degree from PTC and is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
