As a North West Apprenticeship Ambassador, I promote the value and opportunities of apprenticeships across the region. My role involves sharing real-world experiences to inspire young people, parents, employers, and educators to consider apprenticeships as a high-quality route into skilled careers. I support outreach activities such as careers events, school talks, employer engagement sessions, and networking forums. I act as a positive representative for apprenticeships by highlighting the benefits of apprenticeship pathways for both individuals and organisations. Providing insight into apprenticeships within the automotive sector and the skills developed along the way. Encouraging employers to create, improve, or expand their apprenticeship programmes. Supporting peers and helping raise awareness of progression routes, qualifications, and industry opportunities. Championing diversity and inclusion, ensuring apprenticeships are accessible to people from all backgrounds.Overall, my role helps strengthen the apprenticeship community in the North West by raising awareness, building connections, and empowering more people to pursue apprenticeship opportunities.
